VH1′s ‘Love x Hip Hop: Atlanta’ To Premiere June 18th

While rumors were still popping up that Atlanta’s raptress Diamond was going to appear on the latest “Love and Hip Hop” spin off, other things were being readied for the show. Like a premiere date, which is way overdue– but luckily it’s been shared, and the latest news on the show’s beginning which is said to be on June 18th.

Though Diamond spoke out quickly of not signing on to the ratchetness that is reality television, there’s a cast of six women who all jumped at the bit to be a part of the latest woman-bashing show that’s mainly over men in the hip hop industry. It’s said that once she found out that Scrappy’s current lady-friend and his mother would be a part of the show, the ATL female decided against being a part of it all.

VH1 has also shared a little wrap up of what and who is to come in the ten episode series, sharing, “Centered in the heart of the South, these fiery ladies and gentlemen aren’t looking to lead the debutante life. With aspiring songbirds and rappers in the mix, the stakes are high as competition is fierce in both professional and personal arenas. Striving to leave their mark beyond the red clay of Georgia, hip hop’s southern princes and princesses are allowing nothing to stand between them and making it big in the game.”

The ladies featured in the show are none other than Erica Dixon (Scrappy’s latest girlfriend and baby mama) and his mother “Mama Dee”, Mimi Faust (producer Stevie J’s girlfriend), ATL native rapper Rasheeda and her husband-slash-manager Kirk, as well as artists K Michelle and Karlie Redd.

Tune in on June 18th to see all of the drama that’s sure to get stirred up!
