Kim And Khloe Kardashian’s QuickTrim Facing Lawsuit

It seems another product that the Kardashians have endorsed is facing legal woes. First it was their Kardashian pre-paid credit card, and now it’s the QuickTrim product line under fire! Kim and Khloe have been endorsers of the QuickTrim plan and PageSix revealed that a lawsuit is brewing over the product and it’s active ingredient – caffeine.
Law firm Bursor & Fisher is preparing a suit against Windmill and the marketing claims made by the Kardashians. An e-mail it sent to product users included a link to the firm’s Web site, which states, “The active ingredient in QuickTrim weight loss products is a large dose of caffeine . . . The FDA has determined that caffeine is not safe or effective for weight loss.”
Kim and Khloe have both claimed amazing success with the products. Did you try QuickTrim? Apparently a LOT of people gave it a whirl – their product line generated over $45 million in revenue since 2009.
This type of lawsuit is exactly why celebs have to be so careful about what they slap their names on!
